Sigurd Klyve Grytten
Grytten assists customers within a wide range of communication disciplines from classical media management through issue management, to political strategies and analysis. He has developed strategies for several of the larges businesses in Norway in both private and public sector and has special insights into the Norwegian power industry through working for Statnett, Statkraft, and Norsk Hydron amongst others. In addition, he has extensive knowledge on Norwegian business style. Sigurd Grytten became partner in Zynk in September 2012.
Sigurd Grytten came to Zynk from the position as CEO of Burson-Marsteller (B-M) in Norway. He had then, over a three-year period, led the company from decline to growth. Before he became CEO in B-M in 2009, he had been the head of the social affaires department in Norway, and deputy of the public affair department in Europe. Grytten was a part of B-M for almost ten years.
Grytten has extensive political experience and was a Member of Parliament for the Labour Party during Jens Stoltenbergs first cabinet (2000-2001), leader of the Labour Party in Bergen from 2000 to 2002, and the leader of the European Movement from 2001 to 2003. He was also a part of the AUF central committee from 1994-1998. In 1994 Grytten led the “yes campaign” in Hordaland.
Cand.Mag from the University of Bergen within administration and organisation theory, comparative politics and sociology. Grytten has also accomplished the executive schooling at WPPs.
